    <title>Remove the Magazine Disconnector:
ruger Mk III (Hunter)</title>
    <link>http://scromp.net/ruger/Site/HOWTO.html</link>
<description>When updating the venerable Mk II design in producing the Mk III, Ruger added a little misfeature called a magazine disconnector. It is supposed to be a safety feature; it prevents the gun from firing without a magazine in it. In practice this is an annoyance, especially when taking the gun apart.

The good news is that it’s pretty easy to rid yourself of it. </description>
